Kakinada: A massive cracker explosion occurred in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada on Monday. The explosion reportedly took place at Balaji Exports while others were unloading cracker parcels from Hyderabad. The incident was recorded on CCTV. According to reports, at least four people were injured in the explosion.

In the video, it could be seen that a porter threw a parcel on the ground while unloading. It resulted in a massive explosion. The injured were rushed to Kakinada GGH for treatment.

The CCTV footage of the explosion showed that at the time of the explosion, six people were present at the spot. The incident took place at around 8:19 am. The condition of the injured is reported to be stable.

"A crackers explosion took place in the morning at Jai Balaji Transporters when workers were unloading the parcel. Due to the impact, the crackers exploded, injuring four people," Kakinada District Superintendent of Police (SP) Bindu Madhav told ANI.

No casualties were reported.
