The footage showed an active cigarette pinned at the horse's mouth. The animal was forced to smoke lying down on the ground. None of the guests at the wedding display questioned the actions of the miscreant youths. They all 'enjoyed' dancing and mistreating the animal.

Internet demands action

As the video was posted online, netizens slammed the act and demanded strict action against the culprits. The clip is being reshared by multiple activists and animal lovers, questioning the disrespectful act of stepping on the horse's body to perform push-ups while making the animal engage in a cigarette.

As of Monday, there are no reports of police action in this case. However, animal lovers are raising their voices to demand justice for the horse and punishment for the culprits. Indian actresses Karishma K Tanna and Tinaa Dattaa were among those who commented the disturbing incident. "My blood is boiling. Only if I had the powers", the 'Scoop' actress wrote. "This is wrong", Dattaa added.

People tagged PETA India to look into the matter.

Instagram user behind this cruel reel

The Instagrammer was identified as Jeenwal Shab.

He has deleted the reel after a massive outrage on social media.

Recent stories shared by the man show him posing at one of the popular tourist attractions in Solan, Himachal Pradesh - Chail Stone Temple. It is, thus, believed that Jeenwal is either a resident of the area or he visited it during the wedding celebration there.
