Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A youth was arrested on Sunday by the cyber crimebranch for duping high school and intermediate students under the pretext of providing them with leaked question papers from the MP Board. The accused, identified as Deepanshu Kori (19) from Chhindwara district, was running Telegram channels with the MP Board’s monogram and logo to gain the students' trust.

Additional DCP (Crime) Shailendra Singh Chauhan said that the police launched an investigation after it was reported that some people were scamming students by offering leaked question papers. Using surveillance methods, police arrested Kori and recovered two mobile phones and two SIM cards used in the crime.

Kori had been operating two Telegram channels, where he added intermediate students. He offered to provide leaked question papers in exchange for a payment of Rs 500 to Rs 1000. In return, he sent sample papers to students.Earlier, the cyber crimebranch had arrested Shivam Yadav from Bhind, who was also using a similar modus operandi to deceive students.

Woman Raped On Marriage Lure

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 35-year-old woman from Habibganj, preparing for competitive examinations, was allegedly raped multiple times by Sachin Gaur, a man she met as a fellow student in 2010.

After winning her trust with promises of marriage, Sachin exploited her for years, only to refuse tying the knot when she recently asked him to honour his word. The Habibganj police, under TI Sanjeev Chaukse, have registered an FIR against the accused and are trying to track him down.
