Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 17-year-old minor girl was held hostage and raped by her cousin's friend in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, as reported on Sunday.

It is said that the girl met the accused two years ago at her cousin's wedding. During this time, they became friends. The accused threatened the girl to make the reels and videos made with her viral on social media. After this, he called the girl to Jhansi to meet him.

Here she was held hostage for five days and raped. Somehow the girl escaped and reached her home. The girl has reported the matter to the University Police Station in Gwalior. The police have registered a case of rape by holding hostage against the accused. At present, the police are searching for the accused.

The minor is a 12th class student. She told the police that two years ago she had come to Gwalior to attend the wedding of her maternal uncle's son. Here, the maternal uncle's son's friend Vishal son Kailash Khatik resident Kailiya Jalaun UP had come.

Here they became friends and started talking. Sometimes he used to come to meet her and sometimes when she went to her maternal uncle's house, they used to meet and he used to take photos together and make reels. About a year ago, they had a dispute and the student stopped talking to him.

Accused started blackmailing 10 days ago 

Ten days ago, the accused Vishal called the student on her mobile. He asked her to meet, which the student refused. However, when the student refused, the accused threatened that if she did not come to meet him, he would defame her by making the reel, video and photos made with her viral.

She got scared due to the threat, on which the student reached Jhansi by train, Vishal took her to a house and held her hostage for five days and did bad things with her. Somehow she ran away from there and reached the police station and complained. The police have registered a case on her complaint.

In this case, University Police Station in-charge Pradeep Kumar says that a case of rape has been registered on the complaint of the student and the accused is being searched. Our team is conducting raids. The accused will be caught soon.
