South Africa are on top against England in the ICC Champions Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is gearing up for an electrifying encounter between England and South Africa, two of the most formidable teams in international cricket.

England, led by the experienced Jos Buttler, has not been in impressive form lately. But the team's batting lineup, featuring the likes of Ben Duckett, Joe Root, and Harry Brook, has been in scintillating form, with a penchant for posting massive totals. England's bowling department, spearheaded by the likes of Jofra Archer, Saqib Mahmood, and Adil Rashid, has been equally impressive, with the ability to restrict opposition teams to manageable totals.

South Africa has been quietly building momentum, with a renewed sense of purpose and teamwork. The Proteas' batting lineup, featuring the likes of Ryan Rickelton, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram, has shown remarkable resilience and ability to adapt to different conditions. South Africa's bowling attack, led by the experienced Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen, has been equally effective in restricting opposition teams.

Currently England are 171-8 at the end of 35 overs with Adil Rashid and Jos Buttler in the middle.
