Mumbai: In celebration of women's empowerment and safety, a unique event titled "Empowered Wheels" is set to take place on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025. Women bikers and drivers will take to the streets with banners advocating for women's safety, promoting a culture of safety and confidence among women. This collective effort aims to raise awareness and demand safety for women.

Organized by Cuffe Parade Residents Association in celebration of International Women's Day, the event invites women from all walks of life to join forces and demand safety everywhere, especially at home.

- 8:00 AM - Meet & Greet at WTC

- 9:00 AM - Flag Off: A collective ride to promote women's safety

- 10:30 AM - Light Refreshments: A break to relax and recharge

- 11:10 AM - Inspiring Talk by Mrs Shobha Shelar, District Women and Child Development Officer

"We believe that women's empowerment and safety are fundamental human rights," said Dr. Laura Dsouza, President of CPRA. "Through Empowered Wheels, we aim to create a community of confident and responsible women who can inspire others to demand safety and respect everywhere."

Rider Parul Nandekar added, "Together, we can create a society where women feel safe, respected, and valued everywhere."
