How did the incident unfold?
The moment the station in-charge allegedly demanded a bribe from a complainant, Anti-Corruption officers stormed into his office and caught him in the act. Singh was accused of accepting Rs 30,000 in bribe and was immediately taken into custody.
A video of the dramatic arrest has since gone viral, showing several Anti-Corruption officials surrounding the SHO and attempting to escort him to their vehicle.
However, Singh resisted getting inside, repeatedly pleading, "Listen to me, hold on a minute... I'm not going." Despite his reluctance, the team eventually managed to get him into the vehicle after much effort.
