Thane: A case has come to light in which some youths were beating up people in an office under the Vartak Nagar police station in Thane with swords and axes. The CCTV footage of this incident has been circulated on social media across Thane, raising questions about law and order in the city.

The police have a preliminary estimate that this incident took place under the Vartak Nagar police station. Accordingly, the process of registering a case is being initiated at the Vartak Nagar police station.

In this video, five to six people are seen entering an office where there were seven to eight computers. While two employees were in the office, the youths entered with swords and axes in their hands and started beating up the employees.

After that, the youths destroyed the computers in the office. After one person arrived, all the attackers left from there. The incident was captured on the CCTV in the office. One of the attackers also broke the CCTV camera while leaving. After the CCTV footage of this incident was circulated on social media in the city, causing a stir online.

After the investigation of this case by Wagle Estate, Srinagar and Vartak Nagar police, preliminary information has come to light that this case is under the jurisdiction of Vartak Nagar police station, accordingly, the process of re-registering it at Vartak Nagar police station has been started. The police suspect that the attackers may be the Chaki Court. It is also being speculated that this attack may have been carried out due to past enmity.

Thane city witnessed a night of terror as a group of armed goons brandishing swords spread fear in Lokmanya Nagar, Indira Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Wagle Estate, and Vartak Nagar.

According to police investigations, the suspects have been identified as Sagar Dalvi (Modak), Ajay Jagtap (Ajju), Laddu, Andya, Appa Chaugule, Babli Mhatre, and Sachin Rai. All of them are reportedly among the deported accused from the Wagle Estate area.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and further action is expected.
