Mumbai is set to witness the 88th edition of the Design and Visual Media exhibition at Sir JJ School of Art, Architecture and Design. The event was inaugurated on February 25, at 5pm by chief guest chancellor Dr Arvind Jamkhedkar, in the presence of vice chancellor professor Dr Rajanish Kamat, Padma Shri calligrapher Achyuta Palav, registrar Shashikant Kakade, and Dr Santosh Kshirsagar, head of the design department and I/C Directorate of Art, Maharashtra.

The annual exhibition provides a platform for young artists to showcase their creative and intellectual abilities across various mediums, including 2D and 3D designs, nature and object depictions, graphic and communication design, calligraphy, photography, typography, illustrations, and computer graphics.

Students from the first to final year actively participate, demonstrating their skills and dedication. Dr Kshirsagar has invited art lovers, professionals, and parents to visit the exhibition and support emerging artists. The event is open to the public free of charge between February 26 and March 2, between 11am and 7pm at Sir JJ School of Art, Fort.
