In line with the cleanliness campaign, MLA Hemant Rasane has resolved that no unauthorized hoardings will be put up in the Kasba constituency. Implementing this resolution, an unauthorized flex banner in Shanivar Peth was removed by Rasane himself. He also directed the administration to take action against all unauthorized flex banners in public places within the Kasba Assembly constituency within the next eight days.
As part of the Clean, Beautiful, and Developed Kasba campaign, a special ceremony was held near Ramanbaug School, where a chronic dumping spot had been cleared. A garland was offered to the statue of Sant Gadge Maharaj, followed by a formal worship of cleaning equipment. With the cooperation of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 26 chronic dumping spots in the Kasba constituency have been successfully eliminated, and the Swachhata Narayan Mahapuja was conducted at these locations. The initiative has played a crucial role in raising public awareness about cleanliness.
The event was attended by Pune Municipal Commissioner Rajendra Bhosale, Deputy Commissioner of Solid Waste Management Sandeep Kadam, Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Sandeep Singh Gill, along with former corporators, office bearers, party workers, and sanitation workers from the Kasba constituency.
