Mumbai: The Western Railway announced on Thursday that there will be a block between Vangaoan and Dahanu Road on the Western route on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, 2025.
The block is carried for shifting, diversion, and heightening of the monopole, and it will last for one hour: from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on March 1, and from 9:50 AM to 10:50 AM on March 2, 2025, affecting both the Up and Down main lines.

Eight Days Night Megablock On Central & Harbour Line
The Central Railway has announced an eight-day night mega block on the central route, which started on February 26 and will continue until March 7. This block is being implemented for maintenance work.
The block will affect both the Central and Harbour lines, specifically between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Byculla on the UP fast line. The work will take place from 12:30 AM to 4:30 AM, resulting in a four-hour block on the line.
Central Railway Annouched Holi Special Trains From Mumbai to Nagpur, Nanded and Madgaon
Central Railway announced the operation of special Holi trains from Mumbai, Nagpur, Nanded, and Madgaon in Goa. On Saturday, the railway authorities announced that these trains to help manage passenger rush during the festive season.
Special services will be available from Pune to Nagpur as well. The trains will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai.
According to the posts on 'X', each train will operate two trips per week, except for the route from CSMT to Nagpur, which will offer four trips. The trains are scheduled to run on various days to accommodate travellers.
