Renowned Bollywood actor-filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife, Sunita Gowariker, are gearing up for a grand celebration as their son, Konark Gowariker, is all set to tie the knot with Niyati Kanakia next month.

Niyati is the daughter of prominent real estate businessman Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia of Kanakia Builders.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the wedding is scheduled to take place on March 2 in Mumbai and is expected to be a lavish affair, bringing together two influential families from the worlds of cinema and real estate.

With both families being well-known and highly respected, the event is likely to witness the presence of Bollywood celebrities, business magnates, and other high-profile guests.

Konark often shares adorable pictures with Niyati on his Instagram account. A couple of days back, he posted a series of pictures in which they were seen dressed in beautiful traditional outfits.

A few days back, Konark thanked his friends for being with him and Niyati and helping them out with the wedding preparations.

He wrote on Instagram, "Niyati and I have been incredibly blessed and privileged to be surrounded by a wonderful group of friends. In the run up to the wedding they have supported us, celebrated us and stressed with us as we get ready to tie the knot."

Konark has been deeply involved in learning the art of filmmaking and gaining hands-on experience by working closely with his father. He is now ready to carry forward his father's legacy.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ashutosh was last seen as an actor in the Marathi web series Manvat Murders. His last Hindi directorial was Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon-starrer Panipat which hit the big screens in 2019. He has not announced any of his upcoming projects yet.
