Sehore/Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): BJP MP from Bhopal Alok Sharma conducted a surprise inspection at the Sehore Railway Station on Thursday. During the review, he pointed out at unhygienic and unsanitary conditions at the station.

At one point on the rail over bridge (RoB), he got so disappointed seeing the tobacco stains that he decided to clean the wall by himself.

A video of the same surfaced on social media on Thursday and is doing rounds. The clip shows the Member of Parliament trying to rub pan/tobacco stains on the wall with a cloth.

He reprimanded the supervisor and officials in-charge of the station and warned them of suspension.

According to information, on Thursday, Bhopal MP Alok Sharma was on a visit to inspect the renovation work that was being carried out at the Sehore railway station. During the inspection, he noticed that the sation was very dirty with spit stains and garbage all over the foot over bridge. Seeing all this, Sharma called up the officials responsible for cleanliness and maintainance of the station. Sharma then moved on to scold them and said, 'Negligence will not be tolerated, you might get suspended'.

A video of the MP cleaning the station has gone viral on social media and is garnering thousands of views.

Moreover, after the cleaning process was complete, several officials complained to the MP about overloaded autos. The officials alleged that the auto drivers seat more than the allowed number which looms a threat of overturning and injuring the passengers. Regarding this complaint, Sharma called up the GRP Officers and instructed them to take care of the matter.
