TANCET 2025: The registration procedure for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET) is going to close today, February 26, 2025, by Anna University. Earlier, the last date to register for the same was 21st February 2025. Candidates who are interested in taking admission to MBA or MCA programmes for the upcoming academic year 2025-26 can register by visiting the official website of TANCET at tancet.annauniv.edu.
TANCET 2025: Exam pattern
The TANCET exam will be conducted on March 22, 2025. The MCA exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. whereas the MBA exam will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. On the other hand, the CEET 2025 exam will take place on March 23, 2025, in a single shift from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Both tests will last two hours. The question papers include 100 multiple-choice questions, each contains one mark for a correct answer while each wrong answer will result in a 1/4 mark deduction.
TANCET 2025: Application fees
- TANCET 2025 examination fees: Rs 1000
- SC, SCA, and ST categories: Rs 500
- CEETA PG application and counselling price for Tamil Nadu SC, SCA, and ST applicants: Rs 900 (plus Rs 400 GST on the counselling charge).
- The application and counselling fees for other categories: Rs 1,800 (+ Rs 800 GST on the counselling price).
