Bollywood actress Divya Dutta played a key role in Vicky Kaushal's latest release, Chhaava, which is the current talk of the town. In the film, she played the role of Rajmata Soyrabai, the second wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and a deleted scene from the film featuring her has now gone viral on the internet.

In the film, Rajmata Soyrabai is shown to have plotted against Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, to make her son Ramraje the king. The deleted scene shows her heated exchange with her brother and Sambhaji Maharaj's first-in-command, Hambirrao Mohite, and while Divya did not have much screen time in the version of the film that is being screened in Indian theatres, the deleted scene gives a glimpse of her impressive acting chops.

"I’m actually surprised to see the scene online. It was one of my very favourite scenes. But yeah, it happens. Not in my hands. But the thing is, the film is getting lots of love, and I’m getting lots of love," she said.

"To be honest, I would have been very happy had the scene been there. But yeah, that’s all. No complaints," she added.
