A Bengaluru man, 24, who placed an order on Swiggy Genie was left in shocks after the delivery person allegedly asked him for a sexual favour. The Genie stood at his doorstep and requested the customer if he could make sexual advances at him. The man immediately cancelled the order and reported the Swiggy employee's behaviour. The incident was posted on Reddit as well.

A Reddit user narrated the ordeal when he chose to sent a parcel to his friend using Swiggy Genie. He claimed that the delivery agent asked "Can I suck your co*k?" after arriving at his door for picking up the parcel and proceeding with the booked service.

"So I had to send keys to my flatmate as I was at my friends flats. The swiggy genie guy came and I gave the package. He waited for 10 seconds and I was just standing there. He asked for OTP and I checked my phone and said no OTP is given. Then he again waited for like 5-10 seconds and says verbatim "can I suck your cock?", the man wrote on social media.

He was taken aback when the incident took place. He alleged the remark "sexually harassed" him.

Customer & friends find person "unsafe", report him

The post suggested that the man informed his friends at the flat about the Swiggy Genie's behaviour, following which they decided to not send the keys with him. They found the person unsafe and took back the package from him, rescheduling the order.

The Bengaluru man blasted off Swiggy over the sexual request by the staff. He highlighted the issue and asked the company to take strict action.

"Make sure this guy is removed. Imagine if this person reached a girls house? FYI I'm big, but imagine if this was some women's house?", he posted.

Swiggy blacklists employee

In an update regarding the incident, the Reddit post noted action was taken against the Swiggy Genie who asked the customer whether he could suck his co*k. "They have blacklisted the delivery person from both swiggy and rapido", the man informed netizens.
