Big win for SEVENTEEN! The K-pop powerhouse has once again established its dominance in the music industry by winning the prestigious 'Artist of the Year' title at the inaugural D Awards. The event took place on February 22 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, marking a significant milestone for the genre as it celebrated the past, present, and future of the K-pop industry.

The first-ever D Awards, hosted by Sports DongA, brought together the biggest names in K-pop under one roof. SEVENTEEN, known for their electrifying performances and self-produced music, was honoured with the grand prize, also known as the Daesang. This highly anticipated award show featured two main categories: D Awards Delights (Blue Label), which celebrated artists who made a cultural impact over the past year, and D Awards Dreams (Silver Label), which recognised emerging stars shaping the future of K-pop.

The glamorous evening was hosted by popular K-drama actors Go Min Si and Lee Jong Won, adding to the event’s star-studded appeal. Alongside the awards, fans were treated to thrilling performances by artists such as ZEROBASEONE, P1Harmony, tripleS, ENHYPEN, NCT WISH, RIIZE, and YOUNG POSSE, making it a truly unforgettable night for K-pop enthusiasts worldwide.
