Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh received several investment proposals on Day 1 of the Global Investors Summit 2025 being held in Bhopal.

At least 12 MoUs worth Rs 6.28 lakh crore were signed till 5 pm on Monday. The highest investment of Rs 1.2 lakh crore has been proposed by NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), followed by Rs 1.1 lakh crore by Adani Group, Rs 1 lakh crore by NHAI, and Rs 80k crore by NTPC Nuclear.

Who invested what & where?

1. Starting from top, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has signed an MoU to invest Rs 1.20 lakh crore in 2 GW of Renewable Power Generation project in MP.

2. Adani Group's Gautam Adani announced to invest Rs 1.10 lakh crore in multiple sectors ranging from cement and mining to smart metals and thermal energy.

3. Government's National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) signed a pact to inject Rs 1 lakh crore to improve road network across the state.

4. NTPC Nuclear will invest Rs 80k crore.

5. Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) signed the deal to invest Rs 60k crore in renewable energy sector. It will use the money to in implementation of Biofuel-based projects.

6. Avaada Group sealed the deal to put in Rs 50k crore in renewable energy sector over next three to five years. The company will set up solar, wind, hybrid, pump hydro storage and battery storage plants. It is planning to come up with a solar photo voltic module manufacturing facility.

7. Power Finance Corporation signed an MoU worth Rs 26,800 in energy sector.

8. Torrent Power to invest Rs 26,500 in renewable energy sector.

9. Rural Electrification Corporation to infuse Rs 21k crore in power sector.

10. Hindalco signed a pact to invest Rs 15,000 crore to expand aluminum smelting capacity.

11. OPG Power Generation Private Limited will invest Rs 13,400 crore in renewable energy sector.

12. Patanjali signed an MoU to invest Rs 5k crore in Ayurveda, food processing, and renewable energy sectors.
