Dhaka: The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) base in Cox's Bazar was attacked on Monday, claimed local media reports. At least one person was reported to be killed in the attack. Several others were also reportedly injured in the incident. According to reports, some men tried to barge into the air force station after which security forces opened fire.
The deceased has been identified as as a 30-year-old local trader Shihab Kabir, reported India Today. He reportedly died after being shot. The visuals of alleged attack also surfaced. In the visuals, security personnel could be seen opening fire on locals.
