In a bizarre moment during the 21st over, Virat Kohli, attempting a quick single, inadvertently blocked a Pakistani fielder's throw. Recognizing his error, Kohli promptly apologized, showcasing his sportsmanship.

However, Indian legend and commentator Sunil Gavaskar expressed confusion over Virat Kohli's action, suggesting that if Pakistan had appealed, Kohli could have been given out, resulting in his dismissal and a walk back to the pavilion.
