A similar incident occurred a month ago at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa, where dogs were seen eating a newborn’s body near the CT scan center hall.

Hospital authorities stated that the baby’s family had abandoned the body.

After the incident, the hospital administration launched an inquiry. Dr. Yatnesh Tripathi, CMO of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, revealed that a woman from Bargiwan, Singrauli, had delivered a baby, but the child died one hour after birth.

The body was handed over to the family for the last rites, but it was later found abandoned and attacked by dogs.

The police and administration are investigating both cases to prevent such incidents in the future.
