With the user on X mocking her, Preity replied, 'Since you are not paying you shouldn’t be complaining sorry couldn’t resist.'

Chahal proved to be one of the most expensive buys in the IPL 2025 auction as the leg-spinner fetched ₹18 crore from the Punjab-based franchise, having been released from the Rajasthan Royals. The franchise had also splurged a record ₹26.75 on Shreyas Iyer, who is likely to be appointed as the captain.
