UPSC 2025: The registration window for IFS and CSE will be closed today, February 21, 2025, at 6 pm, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who haven't applied yet can do so by visiting the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

After this, the commission will open a correction window for the students who wish to make the changes in the registration form from February 22, 2025, to February 28, 2025.

UPSC 2025: Eligibility criteria and application fees

As of August 1, 2025, the age range was 21 to 32 years. The upper age limit has been eased for reserved category applicants. An aspirant must have a graduate degree from one of the institutions established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from another recognized educational institution.

Students must pay a fee of Rs 100 (except for female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability applicants, who are excused from paying the price).

UPSC 2025: How to register for CSE, IFS Prelims 2025?

To register for CSE and IFS Prelims 2025, candidates need to follow the mentioned below steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Now, candidates need to register themselves and fill out the application form.

Step 3: Make the payment and then submit the details.

Step 4: Download the form and take a printout of the same for further reference.

The Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) and Civil Services (Preliminary) examinations are set for March 25, 2025. The recruitment drive is being held to fill 979 UPSC CSE and 150 UPSC IFS positions.
