Aamir Ali has found love again! The actor, who was previously married to actress Sanjeeda Shaikh and got divorced in 2021, has now confirmed his relationship with model and actress Ankita Kukreti, four years after his separation. The 43-year-old actor revealed that he thought he was not capable of love until he found Ankita.

Speaking about his relationship, Aamir told ETimes that he is currently in a 'nice' place and is getting to know someone after a long time. "Everybody deserves love. Of course, someone had to move on before anything happened, and someone is moving on now. I'm in a happy space as I get to know her closely and nicely. It feels different. It feels good. And I'm enjoying this place."

"I always tell her one thing: Thank you for making me realise I still have a heart. It just started now, almost five months. It's just the beginning of something," he shared.

Aamir shared that he never gave up on love, and whenever he was asked about it, he would express his wish to fall in love and settle down, as he also wanted a family. Despite his divorce, he never gave up on love mentally. He said that deep down, he realised that he was struggling with his heart.

"Sometimes you feel everything is normal, but then you don't know what is going on. Last year I was meeting a lot of people but the minute something happens, I run away. I started thinking, ‘I don't think I'm capable enough (to love) anymore’. And then this happened. It all happened in a week’s time. I was like - Why am I behaving like this? Why am I being a little more emotional than normal? Then I realised I like this girl," he added.

Aamir married Sanjeeda in 2012 after years of dating and welcomed a daughter Ayra in 2018 via surrogacy. However, he revealed that he has not been in touch with his daughter since the divorce.
