Mumbai: Cuffe Parade residents witnessed the planetary parade from the Bay View Marina garden on Tuesday.
The Cuffe Parade Residents’ Association (CPRA) organised an annual astronomy session for the residents of Cuffe Parade to witness the planetary parade from Mumbai’s skyline during the dusk hours of Tuesday. The stargazing event was facilitated through professional grade telescope by amateur astronomer Sarosh Baria.
The residents observed Saturn, Venus, Jupiter and Mars apart from crescent Moon, key constellations, an open star cluster and a nebula.
Baria, who has been exploring and educating people about the wonders of the universe since 1997, is a life member of the Amateur Astronomers' Association.
Last year, CPRA had tied up with Nehru Planetorium to host a similar stargazing session at the Bay View Marina garden, which is managed by the residents’ association.
