On the morning of February 4, a dramatic rescue operation surfaced in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni district after a tiger, while chasing a wild boar, fell into a well. According to media reports, the incident took place in Pipariya Harduli village, located in the buffer zone of the Pench Tiger Reserve.
A now-viral video shared on social media showed both animals struggling as the rescue team worked to pull them out.
According to a X post by Hindi news portal Aaj Tak, villagers spotted the trapped animals early in the morning and immediately alerted the forest department. Responding quickly, forest officials rushed to the site and initiated the rescue operation.
In the video, both the tiger and the wild boar could be seen struggling to grip the cot and crane used in the rescue. After meticulous efforts, the forest department successfully lifted both animals to safety. The rescue team ensured the tiger was removed first, prioritising its safety before attending to the wild boar.
