In response to the BJP's Janata Darbars, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has instructed Shiv Sena ministers to hold public meetings at the party headquarters in Mumbai. This initiative aims to strengthen the party’s voter base ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
Shinde has mandated that ministers be available three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) to address public grievances, focusing on farmers and economically weaker sections. Citizens can submit concerns in person at Balasaheb Bhavan, Nariman Point, or via Google Forms to schedule meetings.
Shiv Sena leaders state that this move aligns with the ideology of party founder Balasaheb Thackeray, emphasising social work over politics. Ministers will be available on a rotational basis to address issues from both rural and urban areas effectively.
Schedule of Ministers’ Availability:
Monday Uday Samant (Industries & Marathi Language) Pratap Sarnaik (Transport) Dada Bhuse (School Education)
Tuesday: Yogesh Kadam (State for Home, Revenue, Panchayat Raj, Food & Civil Supplies, and Pharmaceutical Administration) Sanjay Shirsat (Social Justice) Sanjay Rathod (Soil & Water Conservation) Ashish Jaiswal (State for Finance, Planning, Agricultural Relief & Rehabilitation, Law & Justice, and Labour)
