Mumbai, February 3, 2025: The 25th edition of the renowned Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF) turned into a landmark event as it hosted an extraordinary senior dance showcase for the first time in its Silver Jubilee year. Organised by GenS Life, this historic performance brought together 40 senior dancers who dazzled the audience with their remarkable talent and energy. Guided by applauded choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and his team member Abhishek Bohara, the performance left an indelible mark on the festival’s legacy.

The senior showcase was a spirit of artistic expression, celebrating movement and creativity regardless of age. Choreographed by Sandip Soparrkar, the performance radiated enthusiasm and grace, proving that passion for dance knows no boundaries.

Sharing his excitement about the initiative, Soparrkar said in a statement, "Age is just a number, and today’s performance was proof of that. The energy, grace, and enthusiasm these seniors brought to the stage were truly inspiring. GenS Life is doing remarkable work in creating opportunities for the 60+ community, and I am honoured to have been a part of this journey."

A musical treat by Mumbai Harmonics

Adding to the celebration was a special performance by Mumbai Harmonics, a group of senior musicians who play the harmonica. Their music infused the event with nostalgia and joy, complementing the energy of the dancers and leaving the audience enthralled.
