Today, we got the shocking news that Taiwanese actress, Barbir Hsu, has passed away. The actress, who was famously known for her performance in the TV show, Meteor Garden, died due to pneumonia. Her sister and her husband confirmed the news about her demise.

Barbie's sister, Dee Hsu, in a statement shared by the actor's management revealed how her sister passed away. The statement read, "During the Lunar New Year, our family came to Japan for vacation. My dearest sister, Barbie, has unfortunately left us after getting pneumonia triggered by influenza."

According to Korean media outlet Ilgnan Sports, Barbie’s husband, Koo Jun Yup, confirmed the news and said, “It is not fake news.” In this difficult situation of mourning, he said, "I am not okay.”

In late 90s, Barbie was dating Koo Jun Yup, famously known as DJ Koo, but they broke up as the latter’s agency had banned dating for him. She was later dating a couple of actors, but in 2010, she got married to Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei. The couple was blessed with two kids, a daughter and a son.

In 2021, Barbie and Wang decided to part ways and they got divorced. Reportedly, infidelity and political differences over Taiwan were the reason of their divorce. After her divorce, Barbie once again started dating Koo, and in 2022, they got married.

Barbie and Koo were surely madly in love with each other as their Instagram is filled with pictures and videos in which they are doing social media PDA. Clearly, it is a difficult situation for the family and the fans of Barbie.

The actress’ last Instagram post was also a video of her husband DJ Koo. She had captioned it as, “Clon forever DJ KOO you are so cool.”
