Jaipur: Some changes have been made in Rajasthan Vidhansabha this time to remove the so called 'Vastu Dosh' of its building. The colour of the carpet and seats of the MLAs has been changed from Green to Pink while the MLAs have been asked to enter from the Eastern gate instead of the western gate.
It has been done to maintain the full strength of the assembly as for years one or two seats always remained vacant in the house. The Budget session of Rajasthan Vidhansabha has commenced on Friday and after years the house has all the 200 MLAs. This was mentioned by the Speaker Vasudev Devnani in the assembly.
'After years all the 200 assembly seats of state have their MLAs and I expect that all seats will remain filled in the next four years. For this, some changes have been made as per the suggestions of Vastu Shastra and some more would be implemented in the coming days,' said the Speaker Vasudev Devnani in the assembly.
Rajasthan Vidhansabha shifted to the current building in 2001 and since then, it has been a coincidence that one or two assembly seats of the state remain vacant. That is, there have never been all 200 MLAs and the reason behind this is said to be the Vastu Dosh of the current building.
