Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Due to the construction of a six-lane flyover at Dewas Naka by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC), a traffic diversion plan will be implemented on a trial basis from February 3.

Under this plan, vehicles traveling from Satyasai to Manglia will have to take a route through New Loha Mandi instead of Dewas Naka Square. If the plan works well, it will be in place for the next four to five months.

MPRDC started building the 900-meter-long flyover at Dewas Naka Square about six months ago. The project, costing ₹74.48 crore, is expected to be completed by 2026.

Lane Closure and Diversion Details

In the next two to three days, MPRDC will begin work on one lane between Dewas Naka Square and Laxmi Petrol Pump. Due to this, vehicles moving in both directions will have to take alternate routes.

New Routes For Vehicles

According to the traffic plan:

For heavy vehicles coming from Manglia and heading toward Khandwa, they must use the bypass road from the Manglia toll booth instead of entering Manglia village.

Additionally, vehicles coming from Manglia will be diverted right at CKD Dhaba and will travel on the opposite lane to reach Dewas Naka.

Authorities have urged commuters to follow the new routes to avoid inconvenience.
