Pansemal (Madhya Pradesh): Students of Primary Neversing Falia Wangara, located in Moyda area under District Education Centre, Pansemal are dependent on head master as other teacher posted in the school is on 20-day medical leave.

Parents and villagers have expressed concern about the future of their children as their examination are round the corner. Currently, two teachers including the headmaster posted in the primary school are responsible for education of 53 students in the school.

However, the other teacher is on medical leave for 20 days. Headmaster Sunil Shinde said that he teaches 53 students in the school. When asked about absentee teacher, he informed that another teacher Renu Choudhary was on leave from January 6 to 18.

Even after 13 days on leave, she again applied for a medical leave to cluster principal from January 25. Shinde said that whether her leaves have been approved or not is a matter of investigation.

Pansemal Block Education Officer (BEO) Arun Mishra said that in case teaching gets affected, the Parent Teacher Association will make arrangement for a guest teacher after taking permission from the cluster principal.

Additionally, he said that teachers are given only 20 medical leaves in a year. If there are more medical leaves, then action of salary deduction will be taken.
