Pooja Hegde, last seen in Deva alongside Shahid Kapoor in the lead, where she played the role of an investigative journalist. Now, a video is circulating from the film’s promotions, showing Pooja getting irritated with an interviewer who repeatedly questioned her about landing roles with "big heroes" like Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Salman Khan.
The E24 interviewer was seen asking Pooja, "Kya ye sirf luck tha ke aate hi aapne Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, saare bade heroes ke saath filmein mil rahi hai. You think luck plays a role? Or you think you actually deserve it?" While Pooja seemed initially taken aback, she firmly replied, "I mean…of course I deserve it. I think there must have been some reason jo unhone mujhe cast kiya tha wo films mein."

Despite Pooja addressing the question about working with "big heroes," the interviewer went on to say that South actors who transition into Bollywood often struggle to land roles with big stars. In response, she calmly replied. "I think there’s a saying that ‘luck is when opportunity meets preparation.’ I think that’s what happened with me. When the opportunity came, I was preparing myself to be able to do it. So, if you want to call it luck, then sure."
Yet again, the interviewer asked Pooja, "Aap films kaise choose karti hain? Bada hero? This time, the actress didn't hold back and hit back, asking, asking "Aapko kya problem hai mere se?"
Shahid, sitting next to Pooja, humorously replied that the interviewer might also want to dance with those big actors. "He wants to be you," he added.
