WWE legend Paul "Triple H" Levesque is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The announcement was a heartfelt surprise during a WWE town hall meeting, where Stephanie McMahon, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels stunned Levesque with the news.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, the WWE Chief Content Officer was caught completely off guard and became visibly emotional upon hearing the announcement. Lightheartedly, he even joked about “wanting to kill” WWE President Nick Khan for orchestrating the surprise. With this induction, Triple H will join an elite group of two-time Hall of Famers, having previously been honoured as part of D-Generation X in 2019
Triple H's WWE Career
Triple H's Hall of Fame induction was never a question of "if," but "when." A dominant force in the ring for decades, he captured 14 WWE and World Heavyweight Championships, won the 1997 King of the Ring, and emerged victorious in the Royal Rumble in both 2002 and 2016. His legacy extends beyond his in-ring accolades, as he played a key role in shaping WWE’s modern era through his work behind the scenes as a top executive.
Since making his WWE debut in 1995, Triple H evolved into one of the company’s biggest stars. A founding member of D-Generation X, he helped define the Attitude Era alongside legends like Shawn Michaels. After an incredible rivalry with Shawn Michaels, Triple H would form another group called "The Evolution", which would include Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton.
Over the years, he engaged in iconic rivalries with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Randy Orton, Mick Foley, and The Undertaker. His reigns as WWE and World Champion solidified his status as one of the greatest performers in wrestling history. His last match was in 2019 on a tour of Japan when he teamed up with Shinsuke Nakamura to face Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe.
