With only 20 days left for the Champions Trophy 2025, tickets have reportedly been sold out for three matches. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made tickets for the matches hosted by them in the eight-team tournament on Tuesday (January 28) at 2pm and drew considerable interest from the fans. A spokesperson from the PCB expressed satisfaction at the same.

According to media reports, tickets for Pakistan-New Zealand, Australia-England and Pakistan-Bangladesh have been sold out. PCB has also reported that the first phase witnessed only 30% of tickets going online, with the physical tickets to be available for purchase from February 3 across different centers.

A PCB spokesperson reacted to the development and said, as quoted by Geo News:

"The public response to ticket sales has been gratifying. The sale of tickets in a few hours is a reflection of the interest of the fans and also that they are standing with their team, which is good news. The PCB remains committed to facilitating the maximum number of spectators to watch the matches in the stadiums."

Pakistan are the defending champions

The Men in Green, led by Sarfaraz Ahmed, beat India to clinch their maiden Champions Trophy title in 2017 as they defeated India by 180 runs at The Oval in London. Fakhar Zaman's 114 and Mohammad Amir's incisive opening burst set up the title win for Pakistan.

India and Pakistan will face off in the Champions Trophy 2025 fixture on February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium.
