AAP MLA and party's candidate from Okhla constituency, Amantullah Khan lost his cool when a reporter from a private news channel confronted him over his son's alleged misbehavior with a cop.
The AAP MLA not only defended his son but also threatened to physically harm the reporter if he did not walk away.
Republic TV shared a video of the incident. In it, the reporter approaches the AAP MLA and asks if he is ashamed of yesterday's incident.
Amantullah Khan, surrounded by his supporters, was taken aback by the reporter's direct question and replied, "Should a good person be ashamed?"
Losing his cool, the AAP MLA asked the reporter what type of question he was asking and said, "Do you have matters to talk to anyone?"
He then asked the reporter to leave. Amantullah Khan's supporters were seen pushing the reporter away from the MLA.
Seeing the scuffle unfolding, Khan intervened and even slapped one of his supporters.
He then blamed the Station House Officer (SHO) for recording his son's video and making it viral, and dubbed the channel as a BJP channel.
At the end of the video, he can be heard threatening the reporter by whispering, "Tereko itna marunga, chala ja yahan se" (I'll beat you so badly, leave from here).
