Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: A roundup
Samsung just wrapped up its Unpacked 2025 event ! The tech giant announced its latest Galaxy phones. This included the Galaxy S25 Plus, the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
But hardware was not the only star of the show. It was more as Samsung also held a discussion about AI and how it’s being built into its phones. The tech giant also teased the Galaxy S25 Edge, the rumored “slim” phone.
It also announced that its smart home devices and connected appliances will soon be able to act as motion and sound sensors. This will be applicable to SmartThings, its smart home platform. The platform includes its Music Frame speaker, televisions and Family Hub fridge, among others. Furthermore, this move aims to be a part of Samsung's vision of 'AI for All.'
Other 'Unpacked' events!
Apart from the above-mentioned announcements, another most excitiannouncement could be Samsung’s Project Moohan. This is an extended reality (XR) headset developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. The XR headset is powered by Google’s Android XR platform.
Project Moohan is expected to feature pass-through capabilities, advanced displays and multi-modal inputs. Additionally, you could also be able to experience YouTube, Google Maps and AI-powered assistance from Gemini.
Samsung is also expected to introduce One UI 7 which is similar to Android 15. This update could bring enhanced privacy controls, a fresh design and more Galaxy AI features.
