In a disturbing incident reported from the town of Maków Mazowiecki in Poland, a horse was bathed with high-pressure hot water at a cash wash. A carriage driver who took the animal for a wash at the centre blasted the horse with hot water.

A CCTV camera installed on the premises recorded the horse being abused with the lance of water, following its attack on the equipment. The video captured the moment the man used a high-pressure hose to cruelly douse the animal with hot water. Unable to resist the temperature of the liquid, it hit the car wash equipment to save itself.

Distressed horse damages car wash centre

The footage showed the animal violently moving around to escape the hot gush. In the steamy visuals, the horse was seen collapsing down at one point. During the incident, the distressed horse reared up one of its legs damaging a partition wall between wash bays.

Carriage driver sent to jail

According to a report by Daily Mail UK, the horse was abused by a 43-year-old horse carriage driver, who has now been punished for his actions. The local police has launched an investigation against him and sent him to three years in jail over potential animal abuse, after attempting to clean the animal with the vehicle washing machine.

It was brought to light that the behaviour of the carriage driver was strange and concerning. "I see many people come and go but this is the first time something like this has happened here. I am shocked by what I saw", a petrol station manager near the carwash was quoted as saying in local news media reports.
