Lewis Hamilton finally made his Ferrari debut as he got behind the wheels while training at Fiorano during his first week with the team. The Ferrari shared the video of Hamilton driving the car on their social media handle. The 40-year-old seven-time champion tested a 2023 car. Ahead of the drive, Hamilton also posted a picture of his new helmet which he is likely to wear for the upcoming season.

Lewis Hamilton's new helmet design

During his early days, his helmet had a yellow base with white and blue designs during his time with McLaren. Following the switch to Mercedes, he has opted for a purple-themed helmet for a brief period and then a neon yellow design. The new helmet design in yellow with a prominent Prancing Horse logo.

When will Hamilton drive the new Ferrari F1 car?

According to BBC report, Hamilton is expected to test at Spain's Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the coming weeks before experiencing the team's 2025 model at its launch on 19 February.

Hamilton's first official public appearance as a Ferrari driver will be on 18 February at the launch of the F1 season at the O2 in London, which all the teams and drivers are required to attend.
