Novak Djokovic’s daughter, Tara Djokovic, stole the spotlight during her father’s post-match interview after his victory against Carlos Alcaraz in the Australian Open quarterfinals.

The tournament’s official 'X' account shared a delightful video showing Tara. In the video, she could be seen tapping her wrist and pretending to check an imaginary watch, as if to say it was late and time to go home. Her adorable gesture caught Novak’s attention, momentarily distracting him from the interview.

Apologising to the presenter, Novak humorously said, “Sorry, I heard your question, but I’m surprised my kids are still here. I mean, I love you, thank you for supporting me. But it’s 1 AM. When are you going to sleep tonight?”

This moment stood out as it marked the first time Novak’s children, Tara and Stefan, attended one of his matches along with their mother, Jelena Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic beats Carlos Alcaraz

On the court, Novak showcased his experience and skill to defeat his younger opponent, Carlos Alcaraz, in a thrilling match. The 37-year-old Serb, chasing his 25th Grand Slam title, overcame a strapped left thigh and fought back after losing the first set to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4.

Djokovic now advances to the semifinals, where he will face either Alexander Zverev or Jannik Sinner. If he wins the Australian Open, it will not only fulfill his dream but also secure his first title in the tournament and add to his already legendary career.
