Pune: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is working overtime to make Madhya Pradesh the first choice for investors. In his bid to ramp up investment, he will participate in an interactive session in Pune today (January 22).

During the session, he would engage directly with key industry representatives and investors at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The discussion would focus on creating an investment-friendly environment in MP. Dr Yadav is keen to turn Madhya Pradesh into a major investment hub by leveraging investor-friendly policies, excellent infrastructure and skilled human resources. So far, the state has received investment proposals worth over Rs 4 lakh crore. This session would play a crucial role in encouraging investment across various sectors in the state.

In the past, interactive sessions have been held successfully in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. This effort is a part of preparations for 'Global Investors Summit' scheduled to be held in Bhopal on February 24 and 25 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Madhya Pradesh is emerging as an attractive destination due to its natural beauty, religious sites and world-class infrastructure.

About The Interactive Session

The interactive session in Pune will feature several prominent industrialists. Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman of Kirloskar Brothers Limited, will be a special guest, while Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of Pinnacle Industries, will host a networking dinner. Dr Abhay Phirodia, Chairman of Force Motors, and Hiroshi Yoshizana, Managing Director of Bridgestone India Private Limited, will also share their experiences and insights during the session.

The session will cover immense investment opportunities in sectors such as fintech, IT, ITES, agritech, food processing, pharma, healthcare, automobiles, electric vehicles, skill development and tourism in Madhya Pradesh. Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department and MSME, Raghvendra Kumar Singh, will highlight the investment opportunities in the state. Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Department, Bidisha Mukherjee, will provide insights into investment opportunities in the tourism sector. Additional Chief Secretary of the Science and Technology Department, Sanjay Dubey, will share detailed information on the state’s policies and projects in IT, ITES, and ESDM sectors.
