A video has surfaced online in which a man, who claims to be a bus driver, alleges that a transgender person attacked him with a sharp weapon after he asked her not to chew gutkha inside the bus. According to reports, the incident took place last week in Delhi's Seemapuri area.
Another video of the incident has been making rounds on the internet in which a person dressed as a woman is arguing with some men who supposedly recorded the video. Then, another man, presumably the conductor of the bus, as he had a bundle of tickets in his hand, shows the sharp weapon, a cutter knife.
The bus driver, who was bleeding from his head, clutched the woman's hand with his other hand and used expletives while accusing her of attacking him. Meanwhile, the conductor, who was recording the incident, claims that the woman claims to be a "Kinnar" (a transgender person).
Then the bus driver drags the woman out of the bus. Some policemen then come into the frame. The woman then says in front of the police that the driver ran his hands over her breast.
She then shows her blood-stained hand to the cop saying, "Look what he has done to me." Then she says that he has 'HIV'.
Then the bus conductor explains that they had asked her to get out of the bus as she was chewing gutkha, the smell of which would cause uneasiness for other passengers as the bus was packed. However, it remains unclear what action was taken against her.
A social media user reacted to the viral video, writing, "She is the same girl who took ₹300 from a boy on a bus and fled. She said, 'I am a real kinnar, and you can do whatever you want.' The boy was crying as he didn't even have money for the bus fare."
