Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 1 will begin on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, and will be administered by the National Testing Agency, or NTA. The dates of the entrance exam's Paper 1 and Paper 2 are January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025, and January 30, 2025, respectively.

Applicants for JEE Main 2025 would also be subject to biometric attendance and frisking following toilet breaks.

It was necessary for candidates to register using either ABC ID or DigiLocker. On the day of the JEE Main 2025 exam, those who chose non-Aadhaar authentication or did not finish registering using DigiLocker/ABC ID must arrive early. In order to perform biometric verification, it is recommended that these applicants arrive at the exam location at least one hour beforehand.

To prevent any last-minute rush, they should get to the exam location at least two hours before to the appointed time. Usually, one hour before to the start of the exam, students can enter the JEE Main exam hall.

Thirty minutes prior to the start of the JEE Main session 1 exam, the gates will close, and after that, no applicant will be permitted entry.

It is required to have a printed copy of the admit card and a valid picture ID, such as a passport, voter ID, Aadhar card, or school ID.

A current passport-sized photo that was submitted with the JEE Main application.

Applicants who fall under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category must bring a PwD certificate that has been issued by an authorised body.

Applicants will be given a designated seat; they are not permitted to switch seats. Their admit card will make note of this.

Candidates will see instructions on the computer screen after the test has begun. Before starting the test, make sure they have thoroughly read the instructions.

The computer-based test, or JEE Main 2025, will be administered online. They have to make sure they adhere to the guidelines for marking their responses on the computer screen.

Dress code:

They should dress comfortably, simply, and lightly. Steer clear of clothing with intricate designs, big pockets, or zippers.

Slippers and shoes with heavy soles are not recommended. Choose slippers or sandals with open toes.

Jewellery, hairbands, and other things that can be interpreted as distracting should be avoided.
