Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): There is no end in sight to BJP leaders attacking one another. BJP legislator from Sidhi Riti Pathak criticised Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla on Sunday for lack of development in the district hospital.
Afterwards, she met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal on Monday. Pathak alleged at a function in a private hospital in Sidhi on Sunday that Rs 7 crore sanctioned by her for the district had disappeared from the health department.
Pathak said she had given the money sanctioned under the CM’s infrastructure development scheme for the district hospital. The money has vanished from the health department, Pathak further said. She made the statement from the stage on which Shukla was also present.
Pathak further said she had written to Shukla about the disappearance of the money, but she did not receive any reply. According to Pathak, since Shukla is called Vikas Purush, he should set out of Rewa and work for the development of Sidhi, too. The district hospital should be provided with all facilities, she said.
Opposition targets govt after MLA’s allegations The Congress has also taken the government to task after the BJP legislator Riti Pathak’s statement. According to MPCC president Jitu Patwari, the situation has come to such pass that the party is not listening to its own legislator and wanted to know what would happen to the people.
Since a sum of Rs 7 crore has disappeared from a district, what is going on in 55 districts is imaginable, Patwari further said. Former leader of opposition Ajay Singh said the BJP leaders had fought elections on development, but once the polls were over, they began to blame one another.
