Last week, we got the shocking news that Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his house by a burglar and he was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital where he underwent a surgery. The attacker has been arrested, and reportedly, he is from Bangladesh. The night Saif was attacked he was taken to the hospital in an auto rickshaw, and the auto driver claims that he didn't take any money from the actor.

Now, according to a report in News 24, the auto driver has been rewarded by an institution and he was given Rs. 11,000 for good deed. While talking to India Today, Bhajan Singh, the rickshaw driver had stated, "I was going when a woman shouted at me, 'roko, roko, roko' (stop, stop, stop). The woman told me to take a U-turn and come to the building gate. I stopped at the gate and I saw a man, who was soaked in blood. His kurta had turned completely red."

"It was around 2.45-3 am and the road was completely deserted. We went from Bandra West to Turner Road. After that, we went to Hill road, passed through Chapel Road before we reached Lilavati Hospital. The child was sitting in the middle and he (Saif) was sitting to his right. I could not recognise him initially. I thought he was just a patient and had to reach the hospital as soon as I could," the driver added.

The accused in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has been arrested, and reportedly, he is a 30-year-old man from Bangladesh named Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad. According to reports, he has confessed that he did the crime.
