Actor Vivian Dsena's fans were left heartbroken after he failed to win the Bigg Boss 18 trophy by just a whisker, and Karan Veer Mehra was announced as the winner on Sunday. In his first post after the show's conclusion, Vivian apologised to his fans for letting them down and thanked them for their support.
Vivian took to his X handle and penned a heartfelt note, which read, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and giving selfless love and support. I have tried my best to live up to your expectations and am sorry if I have let you down in any way."
He went on to say, "I can feel all your emotions; seeing this outpouring of emotions has made me emotional as well. I am extremely happy and proud to have all of you by my side. I promise that I will work hard and try to live up to your expectations in every way."
"You all are my family and my biggest strength. Whatever I have achieved in my life is only because of you. I am a big fan of my fans. A big salute to all of you," he concluded.
After being locked up inside the Bigg Boss 18 house for more than 100 days, Vivian, Karan, Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Eisha Singh and Chum Darang became the top 6 finalists of the show.
Eisha was the first one to get ousted from the winner's race on Sunday, followed by Chum, Avinash, and Rajat. As Vivian and Karan turned off the lights of the Bigg Boss 18 house and joined host Salman Khan on the stage, the superstar in his signature style declared Karan Veer Mehra as the winner, and the actor took home the trophy along with a cheque of Rs 50 lakh.
Vivian was one of the highest paid contestants on Bigg Boss 18, however, throughout the show he was criticised for not putting his foot down and having strong opinions. Salman too had issued several warnings to the actor to buck his game up throughout the season.
Vivian is one of most popular faces on television, having worked in shows like Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, and Sirf Tum.
