In the era of social media, life events revolve around it rather than it being just a witness to what's happening around. When even someone with zero fame is able to package something that goes viral (and money follows), celebs go all-out with their teams carefully planning strategies which eventually ensures that a personal milestone becomes a national event.

Then there is Neeraj Chopra, India's Olympic medallist javelin thrower, who got married to his sweetheart Himani Mor in a low-key ceremony that did not have media frenzy with armies of reporters waiting outside. There were no strategically posted reels, no glitzy PR hooks and nothing that would take the focus away from what the event was essentially about, that of two people lovingly taking vows to spend life together.

Neeraj and Himani got married in wedding ceremony held in Simla. From just a few photos posted on social media platform Instagram, the classy vibes were apparent but a low-key, relaxed mood was also obvious.

The couple was dressed in elegant traditional attire while relatives and other invitees looked on.

"Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," said Neeraj's Instagram post.
