Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually attended the Swamitva Yojana programme held in Seoni on Saturday.

During the programme, property cards were distributed to 15.63 lakh beneficiaries of the state.

In his address, chief minister Mohan Yadav and other elected representatives were present at the programme.

Yadav said that without any discrimination, PM Narendra Modi gave property ownership rights to people. The right to Swamitva is not mere land right but it is right to self-esteem. It will empower people in economically and socially.

Yadav said that government had set the priority of empowering women and uplifting the status of youths, poor and farmers. In this regard, Yuva Shakti Mission and Garib Kalyan Mission have been already started.

Under Garib Kalyan Mission, every poor family and low income group will have a pucca house. Talking about public welfare works, he said to expand transportation facility, buses would be run in rural areas. The places connected with Lord Krishna will be developed as religious places.

After divisional-level investors’ meet, investors’ meet will be organised in districts. The chief minister also laid the foundation stone of 72 development works worth Rs 190 crore. He said that college would be established in Dhanora and a gaushala will be opened in Seoni.

PM interacts with Manohar Mewada

During the e-distribution of property cards, PM virtually interacted with Manohar Mewada of Pipaliya Meera village panchayat in Sehore district. PM tried to know what changes have come in his life after getting the e-card of the property.

He said earlier he failed to get loan but after getting Swamitva card, he easily received bank loan of Rs 10 lakh and through this sum he opened dairy farm. He has become self-reliant after opening the dairy farm.
