The provisions and facilities provided by the Panvel municipal corporation to the sanitation workers were checked by the National commission for safai karamcharis. 

Member of the commission  Dr. P.P. Vava visited the corporation on January 18 

Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale provided a presentation detailing the facilities and benefits provided to sanitation workers. The member was informed that suggestions given during previous visit by the commission regarding providing additional facilities for sanitation workers had been implemented. 

Present at the event were National Commission for Safai Karamcharis Social Advisor Abhishek Nath, Coordinator Sandip Charan, Deputy Commissioner Kailas Gawde, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vaibhav Vidhate, Deputy Commissioner Babasaheb Rajale, Deputy Commissioner Ravikiran Ghodke, Chief Accounts Officer Mangesh Gawde, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anand Gosavi, Assistant Commissioner Smita Kale, Assistant Commissioner Swaroop Kharge, Accounts Officer Sangram Vhorkate, Deputy Chief Auditor Sandip Khurpe, Executive Engineer Sudhir Sanlukhe, All India Safai Mazdoor Congress President Charansingh Tak, Santosh Chindaliya, as well as office bearers of the sanitation workers' union Shailesh Gaikwad, Anil Jadhav, and other municipal officials and employees.

Commissioner  also highlighted that all dues of retiring employees are settled on the same day of their retirement.

Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner of Solid Waste Management and Sanitation, Dr. Vaibhav Vidhate, mentioned that the municipal corporation takes care of the health of sanitation workers by conducting quarterly health check-ups. "The corporation has also been promoting highly educated health inspectors, and recently, a health inspector was appointed as a Junior Engineer," said an official 

 Dr. P.P. Vava honored the newly appointed Junior Engineer.

Overall,  Dr. P.P. Vava is stated to have appreciated and expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided by Panvel Municipal Corporation to its sanitation workers.
