The eagerly anticipated Tenere 700 adventure motorcycle was unveiled in India by Yamaha India. Although we hope Yamaha releases the 2025 model, the bike on display is an older model. Through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, the motorcycle is anticipated to debut in India by October 2025.

Design and features

Due to its specially designed construction, the Yamaha Tenere 700 can be used for both off-roading and touring. The long single-piece seat and tall flyscreen at the front all add to the motorcycle's daring design.

Because of its extremely slim midsection and tail, the bike has a sporty appearance. There is only one blue color option for the Tenere 700.

Engine and suspension

A 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates 73.4PS and 68Nm powers the Yamaha Tenere 700. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has a double cradle frame, and a USD telescopic fork and monoshock take care of the suspension.

Braking and tyres

Brakes consist of one 245mm disc at the back and two 282mm discs at the front wheel. The motorcycle's spoke wheels measure 21 inches in front and 18 inches in back.

The Tenere 700 boasts a 16-liter fuel tank, a high seat height of 860mm, and 225mm of ground clearance. Considering the size of the motorcycle, its kerb weight of 211 kg.

Other features

In addition to all-LED lighting, the 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 boasts a brand-new 6.3-inch vertical TFT display with two display modes: Street and Explorer.

Yamaha's Y-connect app enables smartphone connectivity through the TFT display, allowing for turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and call/SMS alerts.

In addition to two riding modes (Sport and Explorer), the Tenere 700 has a ride-by-wire throttle and switchable traction control.Additionally, for added convenience, the bike has a USB charging port and dual-channel ABS.
